Hope Valley is full of love triangles and complex love stories, but the cast of When Calls the Heart’s real-life romances aren’t quite as hard to keep track of.
Erin Krakow, Chris McNally and Kevin McGarry are just some of the Hallmark Channel stars who have become family throughout the show’s run, which began in 2014.
During that time, the protagonist Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow) has found love more than once. Off screen, Krakow has been much quieter about her love life. The actress, however, did confirm her romance with WCTH costar Ben Rosenbaum in February 2024.
McNally has been equally as hush-hush about his relationship with fellow Hallmark star Julie Gonzalo, with whom he shares one child.
McGarry, meanwhile, met his now-wife Kayla Wallace on WCTH. The couple went public in fall 2020 before getting engaged in December 2022.
Scroll down to see which When Calls the Heart stars are off the market — and who’s still single:
Erin Krakow
Krakow was shipped with costar Rosenbaum by fans for years before revealing in February 2024 that they are an item. Krakow shared a kissing photo with her boyfriend via social media on Valentine’s Day with a heart emoji.
Chris McNally
Gonzalo confirmed her romance with McNally in June 2022 when she announced that the couple had welcomed their first child.
Kevin McGarry
McGarry has been dating When Calls the Heart costar Wallace since late 2020. He seemingly confirmed the romance in November of that year by sharing a series of Polaroids of the duo hanging out. McGarry proposed to Wallace in December 2022 and confirmed in September 2024 that they had quietly tied the knot.
Martin Cummins
The Canadian star, who plays Henry Gowen, was married to Brandy Ledford from 1998 to 2004. He tied the knot for a second time in 2013, marrying Christine Wallace. Cummins is the father of four children, two sons and two daughters.
Pascale Hutton
Hutton has been married to actor Danny Dorosh since 2002. The actress, who plays Rosemary Coulter on the drama, shares two sons with her spouse.
Kavan Smith
Smith — who portrays Rosemary’s husband, Leland Coulter — keeps his home life very private. The You Had Me at Aloha actor shares two sons with wife Corrine Clark.
Loretta Walsh
The Australia native has been playing Florence Blakeley since the show’s 2014 start. Off camera, Walsh shares daughter Poppy with her husband, Neil Shapiro, whom she wed in January 2007.
Jack Wagner
The actor, who plays Bill Avery, was married to his General Hospital costar Kristina Wagner from 1993 to 2006. The duo welcomed their sons Peter and Harrison, in 1990 and 1994, respectively. The former spouses mourned the loss of their youngest child in June 2022 after he lost his battle with addiction. Jack is also the father of daughter Kerry from a previous relationship.
Andrea Brooks
Brooks, who portrays Faith Carter, has primarily kept her relationship with Riley Graydon out of the public eye since tying the knot in summer 2018. The actress, however, announced in November 2019 that they’d welcomed their first child, daughter Viola. They welcomed son Levon in December 2022.
Viv Leacock
Leacock, who joined the cast in 2021 as Joseph Canfield, has been married to Divina Leacock since 2004. The couple share three children: Lennox, Vienna and Elias. Vienna and Elias costar with their father on WCTH as his TV kids, Angela and Cooper.
Johannah Newmarch
The actress, who plays Molly Sullivan, keeps her dating life very tight-lipped. Newmarch does, however, gush over her daughter, Sophia, on social media.
Ben Rosenbaum
Rosenbaum, who portrays Mike Hickam, confirmed his relationship with Krakow via Instagram in February 2024. “First thing I see when I wake up. Last thing I see before sleep. Happy Valentines Day ❤️❤️,” he captioned a photo of Krakow with her puppy.
Lori Loughlin
The Full House alum — who was previously married to Michael R. Burns from 1989 to 1996 — eloped with husband Mossimo Giannulli in November 1997, just two days before Thanksgiving. The couple have since welcomed daughters Bella and Olivia Jade. Loughlin played Abigail Stanton on the Hallmark series from 2014 to 2019, before stepping back from the show amid the college admissions scandal.
After serving two months in prison in late 2020 for her part in the scandal she reprised the role for GAC Family’s When Hope Calls Christmas special in December 2021. Giannulli, for his part, spent five months in prison for conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud before being released in April 2021.
