TikTok influencer Taylor Rousseau Grigg’s cause of death has been confirmed after she died suddenly at age 25.
A representative for Grigg’s family confirmed to Today on Thursday, October 10, that the social media star died after suffering complications from asthma and Addison’s disease.
Taylor’s husband, Cameron Grigg, announced her death in an October Instagram message, explaining that it was “so sudden and unexpected.”
“No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age,” he wrote at the time. “This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.”

He continued: “She is the most brave and strong woman I know, and her confidence in the Lord outweighed every other circumstance she’s faced, even in her darkest hours. I know she’s saved my life and so many others out there. Her earthly body is still here with us being ran by machines to keep her organs viable for donation.”
Cameron — who tied the knot with Taylor in August 2023 — added that Taylor’s “memory and life will be carried on forever” after her untimely death.
He also asked followers to contribute to a GoFundMe fundraiser to help with the family’s expenses. “With this being so sudden and unexpected we don’t have anything financially in order,” Cameron wrote. “Taylor has been in and out of the hospital since we got married which has affected our financial situation, therefore we don’t have any insurance.”
Cameron then shared what Taylor — who had a TikTok following of more than 1.3 million — would want her fans to know.
“She doesn’t owe anyone anything. But she would want everyone to know that she’s more than OK,” he noted. “While her earthly body is still here waiting to give the gift of life, we know her spirit is in heaven dancing in the streets made of gold with all her beauty and grace. Her endless shoe/boot collection. And her rhinestones and turquoise jewelry. She’s no longer in pain, but her body has been made whole in Jesus name.”
Cameron added, “I cling to the fact of knowing that we will be seeing her again! And we will be able to spend all of eternity together!”
Late TikToker Taylor Rousseau Grigg and Husband’s Relationship Timeline
Nearly two months prior to her death, Taylor opened up about her illness, though she chose not to disclose her specific diagnosis.
“A girl said that I just looked like the life has been drained out of me. Honestly, for a time there, that’s true,” she said in an August TikTok video. “I feel like I’m fighting for life every day. When I didn’t necessarily know what was wrong with me, I’d be in bed in pain just wishing to be dead because I just wanted it to end and I don’t necessarily feel that way now.”
As Taylor held back tears, she shared her belief that she was too young to be suffering from such symptoms.

“It just sucks because I’m 24 years old,” she said. “I should be in my prime. I should be able to walk to the mailbox or run and those are just things I can’t really do right now.”
Taylor went on to reveal that she became sick shortly after marrying Cameron, but she did not start to get answers until a year later.
“I barely found out what was wrong with me, so I was just struggling that whole time feeling like I was going to die,” she said. “That’s exactly what I told Cameron the other day. It just feels like I have to fight for life, to live every single day. And that’s hard on somebody.”
