Princess Beatrice found her prince in businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi after being introduced by a mutual friend.
Us Weekly confirmed in November 2018 that the couple were dating. After three years together, the duo secretly wed in July 2020.
“Every second of every day since has been so full of joy, happiness, laughter and love. You are the kindest, loveliest and most beautiful person in the world. Thank you, my darling, for every second,” Mopelli Mozzi wrote via Instagram one year later in July 2021.
Prior to Beatrice, Mopelli Mozzi was engaged to now-ex Dana Huang, with whom he shares son Christopher Woolf “Wolfie.”
Beatrice and Mopelli Mozzi later welcomed their first baby together, daughter Sienna Elizabeth, in September 2021.

One year after they began dating, Beatrice and Mozzi announced that they were engaged. “We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement,” the couple said in a statement at the time. “We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married. We share so many similar interests and values and we know this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”
Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie, shared her excitement for the couple via Instagram shortly after they announced the news. “Beabea – wow! I’m so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo. It’s been a long time coming and you two are meant to be,” she wrote.

The couple, who were planning to get married in May 2020, announced that chosen to change their arrangements amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “Princess Beatrice and Mr. Mapelli Mozzi are very much looking forward to getting married but are equally aware of the need to avoid undertaking any unnecessary risks in the current circumstances,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement to Us in March 2020. “In line with government advice for the U.K. and beyond, the couple are reviewing their arrangements for 29th May.”
“They are particularly conscious of government advice in relation to both the wellbeing of older family members and large gatherings of people,” the statement continued. “Therefore, the planned reception in the Buckingham Palace Gardens will not take place. The couple will carefully consider government advice before deciding whether a private marriage might take place amongst a small group of family and friends.”

Beatrice and Mozzi tied the knot in a “private wedding ceremony” at Windsor Great Park in Berkshire, England in July 2020. Only 20 guests were in attendance, including the bride’s parents, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, Mozzi’s parents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. The bride “wore a vintage dress by Norman Hartnell and the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, both belonging to Her Majesty The Queen. The tiara was worn by Her Majesty on her wedding day in 1947,” per the royal family’s official Instagram account.

Shortly after the wedding, a source told Us that the princess was already thinking about starting a family with Mozzi. “Bea can’t wait to have kids of her own. She’s planning to start a family with Edo very soon and is hoping it’ll happen this year,” the insider said in July 2020.

Buckingham Palace announced that Beatrice had given birth to a baby girl in September 2021. “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London,” read the statement at the time. “The baby weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces. The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news. The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

One month later, Mozzi revealed that they had named their baby girl Sienna Elizabeth in honor of Beatrice’s grandmother. “Our life together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that await us,” he wrote via Instagram.
