Travis Kelce’s secrets are safe with his Grotesquerie costar Niecy Nash-Betts.
During a Wednesday, October 30, appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, Nash-Betts, 54, revealed how she handles getting asked about Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift.
“Let me tell you about people who text me about Travis. They all started off saying, ‘You know, we’re watching the [show Grotesquerie] — is he the killer?’ just to get you on the line texting them. Then they’re like, ‘Well, what do you know about his relationship?’’’ said the actress, who stars as Detective Lois Tyron on the FX horror series.
Nash-Betts then assured Travis, 35, that she never shares any information with the curious texters.

“I’m like, ‘Man, get off that man’s business!’ I’m a vault, I don’t say nothing,” she said. “You ain’t getting nothing out of me. I mean, y’all just being nosy, don’t ask me nothing.”
Travis laughed and thanked Nash-Betts for “always showing love” to him and Swift, 34, when she gets asked about their romance in public.
“You know it’s real, you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy, and I appreciate you always making sure that everybody knows that,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end added.
“I mean, I mind my Black business,” Nash-Betts replied. “I stay over here and worry about myself and what I got going.”
Did Travis Kelce Make a Nod to Taylor Swift in His ‘Grotesquerie’ Debut?
Travis, whose role as Ed Lachlan in Grotesquerie marks his first time acting, began dating Swift in the summer of 2023. The pop star encouraged Travis to try his hand at acting, according to Grotesquerie cocreator Ryan Murphy.
“The only thing that [Travis and I] talked about was that [Taylor’s] very supportive of him, and if he has an interest, she wanted him to try it,” Murphy, 58, told E! at the show’s New York City premiere last month. “I was thrilled about that.”
Travis and Swift have been supportive of each other’s ventures since early in their relationship. Swift has become a fixture at the athlete’s football games, and Travis has attended several of the singer’s Eras Tour stops. Travis even reportedly got drunk with Hugh Grant at one of Swift’s sold-out shows at London’s Wembley Stadium in June.

“[My daughter] brought a friend and they were bopping away and I hung out with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who’s an American football player,” Grant, 64, told NME in an interview published on Tuesday, October 29. “We did tequila shots at the back of this kind of hut in the middle of Wembley. And there were a bunch of, I think they were rappers. … Anyway, we all got absolutely smashed on tequila.”
Grant first mentioned his tequila-soaked experience with Travis back in June when he praised Swift’s performance via X.
“Dear @taylorswift13, You have an incredible show, an amazing and v hospitable team and excellent if gigantic boyfriend (#tequilashots.),” he wrote. “Thanks so much from one ageing London boy, wife and thrilled 8 year old #halfgirlhalfbracelet.”
Swift wrote back, “As a long time Hugh Grant stan this tweet is very important to my culture.”
