Megan Thee Stallion is suing blogger and content creator Milagro Elizabeth Cooper for allegedly spreading lies about her online.
Megan, 29, filed the lawsuit in Florida on Wednesday, October 30. In court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the rapper claimed that Cooper, who is also known online as MilagroGramz, “continues to act on behalf” of Tory Lanez by “churning out falsehoods” about Megan to “her tens of thousands of social media followers.”
The bulk of Megan’s claims about Cooper’s conduct are related to Lanez, 32, who was found guilty in December 2022 of shooting Megan in both of her feet in July 2020. Lanez was later sentenced to 10 years in prison and is currently incarcerated at the California Correctional Institution. He filed to appeal the verdict in February.
Megan alleged that Cooper “acts as a paid surrogate used to spread” Lanez’s “lies” about Megan, including “the false rumor” that he did not actually shoot Megan.
Tory Lanez Is Not ‘Apologizing’ After Sentencing, Vows to Appeal Conviction
“Cooper performed [Lanez’s] public bidding to denigrate, belittle, insult and spread false statements about [Megan] on her online social media platforms, for no other reason than to bully, harass and punish [Megan] for [Lanez’s] conviction and to tarnish her reputation, causing emotional distress,” the lawsuit claims.
The docs provide several examples of Cooper’s alleged conduct, including one from Sunday, October 27, where she allegedly “falsely claimed that the firearm [Lanez] used to shoot [Megan] was not produced during the trial because it was missing.”
Megan’s legal team asserted that the firearm remains in the Los Angeles Police Department’s custody, which Cooper “could have easily verified” instead of spreading “lies about the integrity of the trial.”

The lawsuit also includes screenshots of several tweets that Cooper allegedly posted during Lanez’s 2022 trial, including one that read, “All this case taught anyone was that your father, brother, cousin, or son could face over 20 years in prison without proper evidence, a botched investigation & another likely suspect just because non credible witnesses said you did something.”
The docs further describe Cooper as “a well-known online social media grifter who traffics in false and sensationalist narratives.”
In addition to her claims involving Lanez, Megan accused Cooper of sharing a “deep fake pornographic video” of her in June.
“Cooper encouraged her 27,000 X followers to view an X post by Bimbella that shared a doctored, artificially created video of [Megan] purportedly engaged in sexual acts without [Megan’s] knowledge or consent,” the lawsuit alleged.
Megan shared her thoughts on the lawsuit in a statement to Us.
Megan Thee Stallion Vows to ‘Stop F–king Rappers’ in New Freestyle
“It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” she wrote. “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior, and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Cooper for comment.
The lawsuit is not the first time that Megan has accused Lanez of paying content creators to spread misinformation about her.
“He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma. He tried to position himself as a victim and set out to destroy my character and my soul,” she wrote in a statement read on her behalf at Lanez’s sentencing hearing. “He lied to anyone that would listen and paid bloggers to disseminate false information about the case on social media.”
