Since Paul Walker’s death in 2013, his daughter, Meadow Walker, has made sure to keep his memory alive.
Meadow was only 15 years old when her father, then 40, was killed in a car crash. In the years since, she has celebrated the Fast and Furious star’s legacy via social media, continuing to let fans know he was more than a Hollywood star: he was also a great dad. (Paul welcomed his only child in 1998 with ex-girlfriend Rebecca Soteros.)
In May 2020, she confessed via Instagram that reminiscing about the California native was her “happy place” — but she wished he was still here with her. Five months later, she shared a throwback photo with her dad, writing via Instagram, “Miss you so so much. Best friend forever and ever.”
Meadow also founded the Paul Walker Foundation, which promises to “continue to do the work that Paul started,” per the organization’s website. “We are focused on his passions and dedicated to his legacy. He is always in our hearts and we are reminded daily to do good and live life like Paul.”
Meadow continues to be “so proud of her dad and goes out of her way to respond to people who send letters or express their love of him and his work,” a source told Us Weekly in June 2021. “She posts tributes to him on social media, keeps in touch with the people who were important in his life and generally acts on the advice he gave her whilst he was still alive.”

Her Guardian Angel
“Happy birthday to my best friend. I love and miss you so much every day,” Meadow captioned a childhood photo of herself and Paul via Instagram in September 2024 on what would have been his 51st birthday. “Thank you for everything. My forever guardian angel.”
Doing Good
Meadow’s first Instagram post was a dedication to her late dad on his 42nd birthday. It was also the official announcement of the Paul Walker Foundation. “Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions,” she wrote in September 2015. “His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others.”
Twinning
On what would have been the She’s All That star’s 47th birthday, Meadow paid tribute to “the most beautiful soul” with a look-alike baby photo. “That moment I realized we are twins,” she wrote in September 2020.
Happy Tears
“A silly day to remember in sadness,” the model wrote in November 2020 on the seventh anniversary of her dad’s passing. “Today’s a celebration of the love and happiness you brought to the world.”
Honoring Her ‘Best Friend’
In 2021, on the eighth anniversary of the Pleasantville actor’s death, Meadow shared a photo of her dad giving her a big kiss when she was an infant, which she captioned, “I love and miss you endlessly. Today and everyday I celebrate your life, your love. And you, my best friend.”
Twin Souls
Meadow celebrated what would have been her father’s 49th birthday by sharing a sweet photo him holding her as a toddler. “Happy birthday to my best friend and twin soul. I love you forever and miss you everyday,” she wrote via Instagram in September 2022, before encouraging her followers to “do good [and] be good.”
Honoring His Milestone Birthday
In September 2023, Meadow paid tribute to her dad on what would have been his 50th birthday. “Happy birthday to my guardian angel,” she wrote via Instagram, sharing a throwback photo that showed her hanging out with her father as a toddler. “Thank you for your love, guidance, friendship, sunshine and for raising me to see all of the beauty in the world. You are the most kind, humble, generous and caring soul I know. You taught me at a young age to always treat everyone with respect, to do good and to take care of our planet. I love you and miss you every day.”
’10 Years Without You’
Meadow honored her late father on the 10th anniversary of his death in November 2023.
“10 years without you… I love you forever,” she wrote via Instagram alongside a video of surprising the actor on set for his birthday.
“You just scared the hell out of me,” he says in the clip, laughing, before pulling her in for a giant hug. “What the hell are you doing? No way! No way!”
Still Missing Him
Meadow offered a glimpse of her childhood with Paul in throwback photos shared via her Instagram Story. “Bring my best friend back,” she wrote in February 2024.
The upload linked to an Instagram post previously uploaded in December 2023. “Merry Christmas ❤️ sending my love to everyone!” she wrote at the time. “This is a difficult time of year for so many. Talk to your loved ones and tell them you love them. Tomorrow isn’t promised. XX, M.”
