Savannah Guthrie exclusively opened up to Us Weekly after Hoda Kotb’s plans to exit the Today show, revealing exactly how she found out about the big career decision. “She called me and the first thing I said to her is, ‘I’m proud of you. I love you, you’re amazing. And it doesn’t matter where we sit, we’ll always be by each other’s side,’” Guthrie told Us of her longtime colleague, who announced in September that she’ll be leaving the morning show in 2025.
